All About Me

The Border Collie is a herding and working breed that originated from the Anglo-Scottish region. They typically are known for herding livestock. The Border Collie is considered a highly intelligent, extremely energetic, and athletic dog. A Border Collie is known as a workaholic, they are amazing dogs that can be too much if you don't have the time, energy, or means to keep it occupied. These energetic dogs will settle down for cuddle time when the work day is over.

The Border Collies overall look is that of a muscular but nimble worker unspoiled by passing fads. Both the rough coat and the smooth coat come in a variety of colors and patterns such as, red and white, black and white, sable, lilac, red merle, blue merle, slate, tri, and more. The almond eyes are the focus of an intelligent intense expression gaze, known as the famous "herding eye". On the move borders are among the canine kingdom's most agile, balanced, and durable citizen. Amiable among friends, they may be reserved around strangers.
